This series consists of chronological reading files maintained by Vice President for University College James Woodward. Woodward's reading files consist of copies of all outgoing letters and memoranda and were filed chronologically for easy reference by Vice President Woodward. The letters document Woodward's activities and responsibilities as vice president including academic and administrative policy development, funding issues, faculty and student affairs, and program development. Additionally, the correspondence provides information about Woodward's community outreach activities on behalf of University College. Many of these letters, however, are of a routine nature.
